Pathways Through the Pines

Our Cushing ISD eighth graders traveled to Timpson ISD for an amazing day of career and pathway exploration at Pathways Through the Pines, an event designed to introduce students to a variety of career fields, industries, and educational opportunities available throughout our region.

Students rotated through vendor zones, engaged with local exhibitors, and participated in hands-on activities that allowed them to explore careers in a fun and meaningful way. These experiences gave our students the opportunity to learn about the skills, education, and training needed to be successful in today’s workforce.

Most importantly, students were encouraged to think about their own interests, strengths, and skills as they begin exploring their futures. Experiences like this help students make informed decisions about the career pathways and opportunities that may lead them toward a successful and fulfilling future.
