Welcome to Cushing ISD
   a TEA Recognized District

The Cushing High School Number Sense Team received 3rd place at the 2A State meet! Lindsay HS won with a 560, Sundown HS was 2nd with a 444, we had a combined score of 309. Hud Allen was our top scorer with a 113 points. He received 10th place. Paul Nelson scored a 104 and tied for 11th. Wade Moore scored a 92 and tied for 15th. Taylor McBride scored a 50 and was 20th place. We went into the State meet with the lowest team score from the Regional meets. 3rd place at State was our reality going into the meet and they achieved that reality. We are so proud of them for all of their achievements this year and look forward to another successful year in Academic UIL next school year.

Ashley Knight won a Silver medal at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Competition! To qualify for State she had to memorize a piece of music from the hardest music available and perform it for a judge in February. In today's contest, she performed the same music selection for a new judge, where she performed nearly perfectly. We are so proud of Ashley and all her hard work!
