Nov- We are excited to launch the new wireless mobile lab. JHHS Teachers will need to schedule for one day in MS or HSLab2 using the new laptops before they check out the mobile lab for the day in their classrooms. See Tena to sign up for training - available now.
Nov- SMART Boards were placed in each elem classroom. The SMART Board is an interactive, electronic whiteboard placed on a wall. Students can literally touch the board - moving words or objects that are projected on the white board. Schools using this technology have a variety of resources to help enhance the student learning experience.
Dec- Mr. Sewell and Mrs. Cruz will be testing out the new CPSPulseTM (Classroom Performance System) with their classes. The CPSPulseTM is a handheld instrument (like a remote for the tv) the student will use by clicking their response to questions heard or seen. Their response will automatically be tallied into the teachers computer for a score. The Elem and JH testers are really excited to see all the ways they can use our newest school technology for Education.
Jan- K12 Alerts® is an emergency messaging platform for school districts that enables them to send real-time emergency messaging to parents, community residents and staff. Each campus office has the notification forms to fill out or you can print a form by touching the K12 Alerts® icon above this paragraph. Remember if any contact information should change through the school year, fill out a new form to keep updated.
